Hnin Ohnmar Myint
Hnin was born in Yangon, Myanmar in 1980. She received the Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology (B.E, IT) in 2002 and Master of Engineering in Information Technology (M.E, IT) in 2007 from Mandalay Technological University, Myanmar with scholarship awarded by Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). During 2002 to 2007, Hnin was working as a Lecturer in Department of Information Technology, Thanlyin Technological University (TTU), Myanmar.
May 2007, she received an International Program of Master of Science in Information Technology (I.MIT) scholarship awarded by Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) and graduated from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand in May 2009. After graduated from KMUTNB, Hnin joined Mekong Business Plan Challenge(2009/10) as fresh graduated and her team won the "Bronze Medal" award from McKinsey & Company and received an internship trip to Hong Kong sponsored by Schindler Group.

In 2012, Hnin received a full-time research studentship, which was funded by The Open University
in the Department of Communication and Systems, Faculty of Mathematics, Computing and Technology. Currently, Hnin is pursuing her PhD research which is Multi-agent System for Real-time Video Umpiring within the neXt Generation Multimedia Technologies (XGMT)
group under the supervision of Professor Laurence Dooley
